Guides such as Miyabi, Matthew, Peco, and Yuki are praised for clear storytelling and a relaxed pace. Expect plenty of walking and a small-group feel.

“Great tour covering some of the main attractions in Nara! Perfect for those taking a day trip to the city! One of the highlights of the tour was feeding the deer—our guide kindly provided some crackers, which made the experience extra special. If you’re planning to spend more time in the park after the tour, we recommend buying some extra deer crackers in advance at the same shop. They sell out quickly around the park, and we ended up having to walk all the way back to the original shop to get more. Definitely worth it, though!”

“The Nikko with Jagroop Singh tour is definitely an unforgettable experience—especially in the fall (I visited Oct 31st). The beauty of the area was unmatched, with fall colors blending into the lush green landscape. My guide Jagroop Singh made it all the better —always checking in to make sure I was comfortable and didn’t need anything. He’s very kind and a careful driver, his car was clean, spotless ans very comfortable. I’d absolutely book with him again. The personal touches he added were lovely and made the tour even mire special, it was great spending time with him. I’m so glad I got to experience the beauty of Nikko. 5/5!”
